This selfie is of my dog, Roxy, and I.  She’s a 6-year-old chocolate lab, and, like any pet owner, I love her dearly.  This photo was taken in the back of my dad’s pick-up truck.  My family has a cabin in Kingfield, ME (by Sugarloaf) and we spend a lot of time up there.  We’re often cramped for space on the ride.  My dad has a cap on the bed of his truck which we load with food, our personal belongings, and any recreational equipment we’re likely to need (sometimes we tow a snowblower behind us, other times an ATV).  Not everything fits in the bed, so bags overflow into Roxy’s and my space.  It’s just over 2 hours from our house in Portland to the Cabin (on days we don’t stop at Irving for gas and snacks or the Tractor Supply Company for random items), so Roxy and I often take a nap.  In this selfie, we’re sharing a nice Bean’s Boat and Tote bag for a pillow.  Roxy is required to sit on a blanket, unlike me, because my dad is very protective of his Chevy Silverado.  You can see quite a few trees in the background, which leads me to believe this photo was taken north of Farmington.
