This was strictly a pen and paper course, so access to the official course description is unavailable.  However, it was a survey of ancient, influential texts from B.C.E. with discussion of how they’re relevant in the modern world.  We started where life started – on the Indus River in Mesopotamia.  We read religious texts including the Old Testament, the New Testament, and the Koran from a secular perspective.  Eastern works from India and China were also explored.
